WHAT IS BOTOX/DYSPORT?

BOTOX & Dysport: Both BOTOX and Dysport are FDA approved neurotoxic proteins produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. These injectables work to block signals from the muscles which doesn't allow the muscle to contract. This relaxes your muscles, which then helps to relax and soften wrinkles. We most commonly use these proteins to help treat facial lines and wrinkles.

There's a common misconception that BOTOX and Dysport are just cosmetic products. Fortunately, that isn't true. BOTOX and Dysport are used to treat conditions like chronic migraines, gummy smiles, TMJ pain, and more. Dermal Fillers: Dermal fillers are most commonly made by injectable hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally through out the body, with the highest concentrations in the joints, eyes, and skin. In the skin hyaluronic acid attracts water, which allows the skin to become more hydrated. As we age, the fat, muscles, bone, and skin in our face begins to thin. This loss of volume leads to either a sunken or sagging appearance of the face, fine lines, wrinkles, folds, and thin lips. Injectable HA is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, facial folds, and to create structure, framework, and volume to the face and lips. There are many different types of dermal fillers like Belotero Balance, Juvederm Ultra, Restylane, Restylane Silk, and many more. When consulting with our doctor and esthetician, we will recommend which dermal filler is right for you, depending on your condition and its severity.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

Getting Botox, Dysport, & dermal fillers usually takes only a few minutes. While you may start to see results immediately, it usually takes 7 to 14 days to take full effect.
